Attorney Joy Chen has extensive in-house experience across multiple publicly listed companies, with a professional background spanning real estate, telecommunications, display manufacturing, hospitality, cultural industries, and technology sectors.

She previously served as Project Manager in te Legal Department of Sinyi Realty Inc., where she handled various real estate disputes, led negotiations and mediations with buyers, sellers, and their legal representatives and successfully resolved numerous high-impact controversies while safeguarding the company’s reputation. She also managed the largest compensation case in the company’s history, demonstrating exceptional negotiation and crisis management skills.

Joy later joined FarEas Tone Telecommunication Co., Ltd. as a Senior Legal Specialist, responsible for telecom regulatory research and coordination with the NCC and other industry stakeholders. She successfully promoted regulatory amendments benefiting the industry and received the company’s Innovation Award. In the corporated legal team, she reviewed and negotiated contracts involving corporate clients, govemment tenders, solar energy subsidiaries, IoT and 5G services, and participated in M&A and cross-border joint ventures, strengthening her expertise in technology and emerging business models.

At Hanns Touch Holdings Company, she served as Deputy Manager in the Legal Department, providing legal support for the group’s panel, hospitality, cultural, and labor-related businesses. She later became Acting Legal Manager, further enhancing her cross-department coordination, leadership, and decision-making capabilities. She subsequently joined Pegatron Corporation, where she handled English and Chinese cross-border contract review and negotiation, and was recommended as an internal lecturer to deliver training on the EU AI Act, deepening her knowledge in technology regulations and international contracting.
